Barry Bates
Senior Executive

Barry’s 35 years in IT delivery and sales has made him St. Croix’s most respected representative. From Manatee Junior college to Michigan State he continued his education in becoming certified in EMC, HDS, HP, IBM Oracle and Cisco technologies. He specializes in problem solving with his clients while being there for them each step of the way. He enjoys the journey from problem to solution by recognizing each client’s environment is unique to their business, so clients can count on Barry to deliver an unique an appropriate solution.

Bill Oyler
Lead Systems Engineer

Bill has been an IT consultant since 1997, providing a wide range of professional services to customers throughout the Twin Cities. Since joining St. Croix in 2005, he has focused his specializations and certifications on VMware, EMC storage, Cisco networking, CommVault backup and archiving, Microsoft Exchange, and Active Directory. Bill enjoys technical writing, training, and helping customers discover and implement new IT solutions. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a B.S. in Computer Science, and in his free time enjoys biking, distance running, canoeing, and nordic ski racing.

Chris Perrault
Director of Sales

Chris’s 17 years of IT industry experience is combined from working with resellers and manufacturers. While excelling in sales of IT Solutions he has also completed specific certifications with ITIL, IBM and EMC. When he’s not busy leading the St. Croix Solutions team he is volunteering as a Mendota heights Firefighter or he can be found on the ice refereeing for the WCHA, NCHA, MIAC.

Corey Donovan
Marketing Director

St. Croix has a terrific client base, but we're also constantly in pursuit of new relationships and opportunities. Corey Donovan brings over 10 years of marketing and IT sales experience in the pursuit of these opportunities to put our best foot forward. Corey orchestrates training seminars, events, trade shows, white papers, collateral and more for our clients and prospects.

Jennifer VanDerHorst Larson

Jennifer brings a wealth of leadership experience and knowledge to her position as CEO at St. Croix Solutions. Jennifer’s commitment to vendor-customer relationships and hiring expert individuals with industry experience are both significant pieces of the St. Croix Solutions foundation – making us one of the most well-respected and knowledgeable IT solutions providers in the Midwest. Jennifer’s personal style is heavy on direct two-way communication between herself and St. Croix’s team.

Jeff Buckley
Systems Engineer

Jeff has been in the field for 15 years and with SCS for the past 6 years. He has specializations in storage systems and migrations, SAN fabric implantation, EMC design, implementation, replication, and VMware design & implementation. He has certifications with EMC, VMware, Red Hat, CommVault, Nimble, IBM and Equallogic. He graduated from the University of North Dakota with a B.S. in Management information Systems.

Kelly Kelly
Services Executive

Yes, her full name really is Kelly Kelly! And she is St. Croix Solution’s official Services Executive. She started her solutions and consulting career after graduating from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a degree in Business Marketing. Specializing in IT Professional Services, Infrastructure Services and Staff Augmentation, she has found a love of finding customers the right technology and connecting them to the right consultant for their specific needs. Her list of certifications includes VMware, Dell Compellent/EqualLogic, and Microsoft SharePoint Solutions.

Kirsten Schlicht
Partner Management

Kirsten Schlicht has been working with leading IT partners since 1999 and has helped St. Croix develop and nurture those key partnerships since our onset. Kirsten's ability to orchestrate communications between engineering, sales, marketing, management and the partners has been tantamount to St. Croix's ongoing success.

Shannon Ryks
Systems Engineer

With Shannon's computer science degree he was trained in top down programming utilizing various programming languages, C (what does that mean?) being the primary one. However even in college he knew that he preferred being a systems administrator with its variety of tasks versus straight programming. During his 20 year span within the industry, gaining skills in a wide variety of roles, his focus has turned to Unix/Linux technologies. In the last 10 years he’s added Enterprise storage systems to his area of expertise, and now within the last 5 years has added VMware to the list. Shannon’s mindset when approaching a new engagement is to first resolve the immediate pain points while looking to future supportability and long term sustainability. He enjoys working with clients on medium to long term developments.
